NTPC Solapur conducted a Baseline survey on April 20th as part of the Girl Empowerment Mission-2024 (GEM-2024). The survey was carried out in collaboration with M/s. Bennett Colman & Co. Ltd with the aim of empowering young girls from ZP Government schools in project-affected villages, setting the stage for transformative educational experiences.

The Baseline survey was conducted at Notre Dame School, Solapur and involved 41 students. This survey marks the first step in understanding the educational landscape and needs of the participating students, laying the groundwork for tailored academic and co-curricular activities during the upcoming 4-week long residential workshop.

On April 22nd, 2024, a medical check-up will be conducted for participating students to ensure the health and well-being of every girl child participating in the program.
